The ESG Reporting & Controller function is primarily focused on ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of the firm’s sustainability and climate-related reporting. As an ESG Reporting & Controller Associate within the ESG Reporting & Controller function, you will ensure the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of the firm’s sustainability and climate-related reporting.
Job Responsibilities
Execute reporting and analytics of sector-specific portfolio carbon intensity based on JPMorganChase Carbon Compass Methodology supporting the firm’s carbon intensity reduction targets. Supports production of the Energy Supply Financing Ratio (ESFR), measuring the Firm’s financing of low- and zero-carbon energy supply activities relative to high-carbon activities. Contribute requirements to enhance and automate existing processes with a control mindset partnering with product delivery teams and technology Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 3+ years of related experience Strong understanding of emission reporting and wholesale banking products Excellent desktop/spreadsheet/database skills Experience with business intelligence tools, and Databricks Able to build and maintain partnerships across Line of Business and Corporate Functions Strong analytical skills: Ability to quickly understand workings of a complex reporting and large data sets across the infrastructure and their interrelationships and dependencies Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgement, initiative and appropriate prioritization Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to multi-task in a constantly changing environment Able to critically challenge with the goal of identifying control issues
