Designer The Opportunity: You know that a good system is more than just the code, infrastructure, and a nice-looking interface – it’s the way it addresses a user’s needs. As an experience designer, you put yourself in the user’s place and help design the best way for them to e nga ge with the system. We’re looking for someone creative like you to work with a team of architects, developers, IT analysts, testers, DevSecOps engineers, and subject matter spe cia lists to craft the ultimate user experience . In this role, you’ll work closely with your team to understand your clients’ vision and their users’ needs. Working on an Agile team, you’ll build skills in designing large-scale digital experience s that are as intuitive as they are aesthetically pleasing. You’ll be involved with the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, interface design, and front-end development. You’ll advocate for the prioritizations of design- center ed changes, refinements, and improvements, all the while keeping the end-user at the center of your work. You Have: Experience with visual or web design and front-end coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or jQuery Experience with design, wireframing, and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Axure, Balsamiq, Figma, or Sketch Experience working in cross-functional, Agile teams to design large-scale digital experience s that meet business objectives Knowledge of user experience and usability principles Ability to speak towards design decisions and incorporate feedback into designs Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree Nice If You Have: Experience designing systems for the military Knowledge of 508 compliance in digital design Ability to submit a portfolio Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information .

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
