We're seeking someone to join our team as a Director, Workforce Screening (Contingent Workforce Program) to lead the governance and operational oversight of the contingent workforce screening program across EMEA and APAC, while supporting strategic initiatives and program delivery within the Americas. In the Corporate Services division, we empower our businesses by creating collaborative workplace solutions and commercial services that enhance the employee and client experience, while optimizing the value of our sourcing and third-party lifecycle to enable the Firm to do-and-win business. This is a Director level position within Security & Investigations, which develops and implements security and life safety strategies for all Firm employees and facilities. What you'll do in the role: - Serve as a subject matter expert on contingent worker screening requirements, policies, and associated risk management practices. - Partner with regional stakeholders to ensure screening requirements are completed in accordance with Firm policies, regulatory obligations, and contractual requirements. - Review and assess complex screening matters involving criminal history, adverse media, identity concerns, sanctions, credential discrepancies, financial misconduct, or other risk indicators requiring escalation. - Escalate adverse findings to senior management and partner teams, including Compliance, Employee Relations, Human Resources, Employment Law, and business leadership as appropriate. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with external screening providers, ensuring service level expectations, quality standards, and contractual obligations are consistently met. - Monitor vendor performance through quality assurance reviews, performance metrics, and periodic governance meetings. - Lead regional efforts supporting internal audits, regulatory inquiries, and control assessments related to workforce screening. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, risk detection, automation, and program scalability. - Analyze screening metrics and operational trends to identify emerging risks, operational challenges, and opportunities for enhancement. - Partner with Technology teams to support implementation of new screening capabilities, system enhancements, and workflow improvements. - Establish and maintain regional procedures, controls, and governance frameworks that promote consistency across jurisdictions while accounting for local regulatory requirements. - Support mergers, acquisitions, large-scale hiring initiatives, and strategic business projects requiring contingent workforce due diligence. - Lead and develop regional team members, fostering a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and risk awareness. - Represent Workforce Screening in cross-functional governance forums, working groups, and senior management presentations. What you'll bring to the role: - Bachelor's degree required. - 10+ years of experience in workforce screening, investigations, due diligence, intelligence, compliance, risk management, security, or related fields. - 3+ years of leadership experience managing global or regional operations and teams. - Strong understanding of global workforce screening practices, contingent workforce risk management, and third-party due diligence. - Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships across multiple jurisdictions and business functions. - Knowledge of privacy, employment, and screening regulations across EMEA and APAC regions. - Demonstrated ability to assess and communicate risk in a clear, concise, and defensible manner. - Experience managing vendor relationships, service-level agreements, and performance oversight programs. - Exceptional analytical, problem-solving,
