Department Test Solutions Engineering (TSE) Project Title AI-Enabled Test Solutions Automation and Agentic Engineering Workflow Project Description This internship provides an opportunity to participate in the development of AI-Enabled automation solutions for Test Solutions Engineering. The project focuses on exploring how Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Assistants, and Agentic AI solutions can be applied to improve engineering workflows and productivity. The intern will contribute to project-based initiatives involving automation development, workflow orchestration, data analytics, and AI-enabled engineering solutions. Through collaboration with engineering teams, the intern will gain exposure to engineering processes, modern software development practices, and Artificial Intelligence technologies used in semiconductor test environments. Objective of the Project To develop and evaluate AI-Enabled automation capabilities that streamline engineering workflows, improve information accessibility, enhance productivity, and promote reusable engineering solutions across Test Solutions Engineering organizations. Project Scope This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to AI-Enabled automation initiatives within Test Solutions Engineering. The project focuses on applying Python programming, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and related AI technologies to improve engineering workflows, enhance productivity, and develop reusable solutions that can be leveraged across multiple engineering teams. Interns will gain hands-on experience in software development, AI-assisted engineering workflows, and cross-functional collaboration while working on project-based objectives. Develop Python-based automation tools and software solutions to enhance engineering efficiency. Explore and evaluate Generative AI, LLMs, AI Assistants, and Agentic AI technologies for engineering applications. Create reusable components, integrations, and analytics capabilities that support broader automation initiatives. Present technical findings, document project outcomes, and recommend opportunities for future enhancements. Learning Opportunities The intern will have opportunities to: Gain practical experience in Python software development and automation. Learn how Generative AI, LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Assistants, and Agentic AI solutions are applied in engineering environments. Develop knowledge of software engineering fundamentals including APIs, version control, and integration methodologies. Enhance analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills. Experience collaboration within cross-functional engineering teams in a semiconductor technology environment. Participate in project planning, technical evaluation, solution development, and results presentation activities. Deliverables Python-based automation modules or tools.
