As a Calibration Technician Intern at our Grand Junction, CO facility, you will gain real‑world exposure to metrology, quality systems, and advanced manufacturing while learning from experienced professionals in a fast‑paced CNC environment. Location: On-site at our Grand Junction, CO facility Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM What Will You Do? Help maintain calibration logs, labeling, certificates, and schedules. Organize and maintain the tool crib and measurement equipment storage. Support incoming inspection of new measurement equipment. Maintain compliance with safety rules, health regulations, and company security policies. Perform other duties as assigned. How Will You Get Here? Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to receive, interpret and maintain quality documents to help during the receiving inspection process. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively with employees and customers. Strong mathematical skills, including statistical concepts, geometry, trigonometry, and practical application of fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions. Ability to solve problems with limited standardization and interpret written, verbal, diagram, or schedule-based instructions. Strong willingness to learn.
Education & Experience
High school diploma required. Currently pursuing a certificate or degree in machining, manufacturing, or engineering. This position requires use of information which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To conform to U.S. Government export regulations/ITAR, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. The hourly pay range for this role is $16.00 - $32.00.
