The Quality Engineer – Business Continuity Management Lead is responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving technical quality and business continuity solutions across the Dubai campus. The role applies structured engineering methodologies to identify operational and product-related risks, develop mitigation and recovery solutions, validate manufacturing and engineering readiness, and protect the continuity of Eaton products, processes, technical services and intellectual property. The role provides engineering services to the manufacturing business, customer sales organization, customer engineering center, support functions and other Eaton Group entities. It combines Quality Engineering responsibilities with technical leadership of the campus Business Continuity Management system in line with EBS, EQMS and MESH. Ensure campus compliance and certification with ISO 22301 requirements and company policies. What you’ll do: Develop and enhance engineering-based Business Continuity Management solutions for manufacturing processes, products, technical services and customer-facing activities, developing, enhancing and supporting intellectual property owned by Eaton Group entities. Perform engineering risk assessments of manufacturing processes, equipment, product flows, utilities, suppliers and technical infrastructure to identify potential failure modes and business interruption risks. Design, validate and continuously improve technical mitigation, recovery and contingency solutions, ensuring product quality, process capability, manufacturing readiness and continuity of customer supply. Apply structured engineering methodologies, including risk analysis, PFMEA, 8D, A3 and root cause analysis, to evaluate business continuity risks and eliminate recurring quality and process vulnerabilities. Define engineering requirements, validation criteria, quality gates and acceptance standards for business continuity and recovery solutions. Write plan containing the steps that would be taken to restore, or, resume at another site, a critical process or an entire in determined time frame. Lead technical business impact assessments and translate identified risks into engineered mitigation plans, recovery strategies and validation activities. Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, Quality, Industrialization, Sales and customer-facing teams to ensure that business continuity solutions protect Eaton products, processes, technical services and customer commitments. Support ProLaunch, new product introduction and product transfer activities by assessing quality and continuity risks, defining mitigation requirements and validating manufacturing readiness before production release. Develop and standardize engineering practices, technical documentation and lessons learned across the Dubai campus and relevant Eaton Group entities. Lead the deployment, governance and continuous improvement of the campus Business Continuity Management system, ensuring alignment with Eaton standards, customer requirements and industry best practices.
