Staff Program Manager, EHSS Solutions  Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.  Global EHS & Sustainability is building a future-ready operating model founded on Trusted Data, AI Enablement and Decision Intelligence.  As the Staff Program Manager, you will lead the business-side discovery, development, validation and deployment of enterprise EHSS solutions. Your initial primary focus will be Health & Safety solutions. Over time, you will build capability across the broader Environmental, Chemical, Product Compliance and Sustainability solutions portfolio.  You will combine strong EHSS domain knowledge with disciplined program leadership. You will navigate complex stakeholder environments, translate operational and regulatory needs into executable programs, and drive accountability across EHSS subject-matter experts, sites, IT teams, software providers, system integrators and implementation partners.  The role acts as an early evaluator of business needs and opportunities, helping identify where process redesign, enterprise systems, analytics, automation or AI-enabled capabilities can accelerate EHSS outcomes.

Lead solution discovery and business definition  Serve as the primary business program lead for assigned Health & Safety solution initiatives and as the secondary program contact for other EHSS solution domains.  Facilitate structured discovery with EHSS SMEs, site teams, IT and solution providers to define the problem, desired outcomes, users, scope, constraints and success measures.  Understand current-state processes, pain points, controls, regulatory obligations, decision points, handoffs and exception paths.  Lead development of future-state business processes and translate approved needs into business requirements, user stories, process requirements and acceptance criteria.  Challenge incomplete requirements, unclear ownership, unnecessary customization and proposed solutions that do not address the underlying business need.  Develop business cases, delivery options and recommendations for portfolio-governance decisions.  Shape AI-enabled business opportunities  Identify opportunities where AI, automation, analytics, workflow redesign or digital solutions may create measurable business value.  Evaluate incoming site and global requests through a process, technology and AI-enablement lens to help determine the most appropriate solution path.  Recognize patterns across requests that may indicate reusable global capabilities rather than isolated local solutions.  Maintain awareness of emerging AI, workflow automation and enterprise digital capabilities relevant to EHSS operations.  Partner with EHSS solutions engineers, data specialists, business-systems specialists, IT and SMAI to assess whether opportunities are best addressed through process change, enterprise platforms, analytics, automation, AI-enabled solutions or a combination of approaches.  Support use-case definition, pilot selection, business validation and value measurement for approved AI-enabled initiatives.  Develop basic hands-on familiarity with approved agent and automation tools to support discovery, demonstrate simple concepts and communicate effectively with technical delivery teams, without assuming solution-engineering
