Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Staff Systems Engineer  based out of Linthicum, MD. Travel may be required up to 50%. Do note the following: this position is contingent upon funding/contract award. What You’ll get to Do: Work within the Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) organization to define and meet all Product Support requirements. Lead a multi-disciplined team to develop and deliver Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E) and ongoing sustainment. Candidate may have Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities to meet Cost, Schedule, and Performance targets using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) protocols. Candidate will have extensive customer-facing responsibilities.  Roles and Responsibilities: Plan and deliver a full range of Product Support work products for a missionized, Group-5 unmanned aircraft system. Work with customer stakeholders to define requirements and allocate requirements to IPT members and suppliers. Lead or contribute to proposal estimates and negotiations. Lead an IPT performing a diverse set of Product Support deliverables to include the following disciplines: 1. Design Influence specialty-engineering tasks (reliability, maintainability, Human Factors, Safety, etc.). 2. Product Support Analysis and Logistics Product Data development (Level Of Repair Analysis, Support Equipment Requirements, Facilities Requirements, Manpower and Skills Requirements, Spares modeling, Provisioning Data, etc.). 3. Development of Technical Manuals (IETM) and work procedures. 4. Development of Technical Training for operators and maintainers. 5. Management of the production/acquisition of spares and consumables. 6. Coordination of CONUS and OCONUS shipping activities. 7. Requirements flow-down and management of supplier contracted services; 8. Delivery of Contractor Logistics Services (CLS) to include Operational-Level operation and maintenance of a Group-5 unmanned aircraft system and associated ground support equipment. 9. Management of Intermediate and Depot level repairs and warranty tasks.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline ( Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) and a minimum of 12 years of related experience; or Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related experience; or PhD in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related experience.
