The Ethicon Global Tech Ops group is recruiting for Manufacturing Engineering Co-Ops for three work rotations or sequential semesters starting Spring 2027. As a Co-op, you will gain hands-on experience with the production of adhesives, polymer resins, monofilament and multifilament extrudate, needle manufacturing, and more! You will be responsible: Participate in problem solving efforts by analysis and correction of chemical, electrical, and mechanical operating problems to maintain or improve existing site operations. Good documentation practices, including writing test protocols, generating final reports, and documenting meeting minutes. Collaborate with Senior Engineers and mentors to implement continuous improvement projects. Deliver end of semester presentations to showcase work to site management and participate in J&J Credo volunteer activities across the site. Qualifications / Requirements: Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master's or PhD degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Plastics Engineering, or related fields. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework. You must not have any Summer Internship contract or other employment commitment that could interfere with the contract dates specified for this position.
