Automated Line Operator II (Lab)

Posting Date 09/18/2026 3000 Davita Way, Deland, Florida, 32724-2039, United States of America The   Automated Lab Operations   (Lab) coordinates   the   implementation and operations for automated sorting, testing, and   storage   equipment within the clinical laboratory department.   Work   in partnership with Specimen Processing, Technical Operations, Biomedical Engineering, and Siemens Support teams. This position reports to the   Manager ,   Clinical Support   (Lab).     Responsible for daily operations of automation:    •   Monitors   automated lines to   established   targets, goals, or metrics : throughput, overloads , and overall workflow of all core lab departments   •   Start-up and/or shutdown automated line(s)   •   First level of troubleshooting of automation line modules: recovering modules in error state, HVS dumper bin, HVS recovery to the ROM,    •   Maintenance to include daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance   such as:   BIMs, D ecappers, Sealers,   Desealers , Centrifuges, IOMs, and BOMs   •   Handling technical exceptions for tubes on the automation line : managing ALO lanes on IOM   1     Coordinate   oral and written   communications with Siemens support staff ,   Lab Leadership ,   and   Clinical Lab departments   to   identify , document, and resolve problems and/or concerns   including, but not limited   to   line status, end of day communication, and general informational emails.
