As a shift worker you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the plant, equipment and assets of Lyondellbasell Warrington to OEM standards and to ensure that plant is available as required by the production plan and that plant and infrastructure is maintained in accordance to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Maintaining safety standards and complying with all relevant rules and regulations. Contributing actively to the provision of a safe working environment for all associates on site. Carrying out Continuous Improvement of plant and utilities by planned preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance work. Maintaining a clean, organized, lean and effective maintenance workshop and stores. A Day in the Life

Work in a safe manner complying with all LYB OE standards, rules and HSE regulations. Contributing actively to the provision of a safe working environment for all associates on site including maintenance and improvement projects and supporting PTW and contactor control. Responsible for maintenance and repair to the plant, infrastructure, equipment and assets of Lyondellbasell Warrington to OEM standards and to ensure that plant is available as required by the production plan. Provide technical advice in troubleshooting and problem solving situations. Work with minimal supervision. Attending breakdowns promptly and efficiently. Diagnosing faults and their root cause. Escalating any issues that cannot be resolved to the Maintenance Manager and to provide necessary feedback and support regarding failures and repairs, recommend improvements that are required to increase equipment reliability and safety. Plan/prioritize workloads to support production goals by achieve the departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Continuous improvement of plant utilization including routine planned preventative maintenance and improvement projects, participating in capex projects to support the Maintenance Manager. To assist in the developing the skill level in the team including apprentices, to support the effectiveness of the engineering team. Maintaining a clean, organized, lean and effective maintenance workshop and stores. Work to high standards of housekeeping during repairs, maintenance and all other duties. Identify and order any parts needed to carry out maintenance or project work. Liaise with the Maintenance Assistant to ensure they meet delivery dates and or times. Ensure all work carried out is logged. Maintain good communications between shifts using the shift handover to give a detailed report, or a written report if required. Participate and embrace company safety initiatives including Operation Clean Sweep, Global Safety Day & Global care Day. Must work in compliance with the requirements of the site management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001).
