Director of Residences At The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, we are seeking a highly sophisticated Director of Residences to lead the residential division at our Triple Forbes 5 Star flagship location. This role demands a true executive presence and exceptional resident-facing acumen, serving a highly discerning ownership community comprised of global centers of influence. The successful candidate will operate as a trusted advisor and ambassador of the brand—delivering anticipatory service, building enduring relationships, and ensuring every interaction reflects the uncompromising standards synonymous with The Ritz-Carlton. This position calls for a leader with sharp expertise in Stratas Governance and the ability to navigate nuanced ExCo dynamics with confidence, discretion, and precision. They will partner seamlessly with the ExCo members and key stakeholders, balancing operational execution with political acuity and sound judgment, reporting to the Hotel General Manager. The complexity of this environment requires a poised, credible executive who leads through influence, drives alignment, and manages the elevated expectations inherent in a high-profile residential setting. Equally important, this leader will curate and elevate the resident experience through thoughtful, differentiated activations that bring the Ritz-Carlton lifestyle to life. This is a highly visible platform within Marriott International’s luxury portfolio—one where success not only defines the daily experience for residents but also serves as a powerful avenue for continued growth across our most iconic assets. JOB SUMMARY Implements high standards for all aspects of life-safety, loss-prevention, unit owner identity, and privacy protection. Operates within the constraints of the residences budget. Provides timely reporting of financial performance and projections to the Board. Manages luxury condominium facilities and all departments working within the building, including physical plant with attention to protection of the investment and plans to increase its value through superior care. Serves as a Liaison to Association shared services Directors (e.g., Loss Prevention, Human Resources, Accounting, Housekeeping). Develops and implements property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand’s target customer and employees and provides a return on investment. Implements training programs related to property management reinforcing constant quality service. Continuously identifies and corrects building and service defects while providing increase in value. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience • 10 or more years’s experience in a senior management position of a four star/four diamond hotel minimally. • Fluent in English • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights. • Previous Association management experience. • Property Management license (CMCA, AMS, CAM) is desired. • International Luxury hospitality work experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance. AND • 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Property Management, or related major; 2 years’ experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area. Management license for Condominiums, as applicable. Or • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Property Management, or related major; 4 years’ experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area. Management license for Condominiums, as applicable.
