Job Family : Strategy & Transformation Consulting Travel Required : None Clearance Required : Active Top Secret (TS) What You Will Do: The IT Governance Product Assessment Consultant will provide support to a premier law enforcement agency's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The consultant will support enterprise technology evaluation and decision-making efforts and play a key role in assessing proposed software products, platforms, and technology solutions, with a strong focus on ServiceNow capabilities and related enterprise technologies. Product and Solution Assessments Conduct assessments of proposed software products, solutions, and platform capabilities prior to procurement and implementation. Evaluate business, functional, operational, and technical requirements to determine whether proposed solutions meet organizational needs. Analyze how proposed products align with existing ServiceNow capabilities, modules, and platform investments. Assess product functionality, integration requirements, scalability, security considerations, and long-term operational fit. Develop findings, recommendations, and decision support documentation for client leadership and governance boards. Governance and Portfolio Analysis Identify existing technologies, platforms, or enterprise tools that may provide similar functionality to proposed solutions. Assess potential overlap, redundancy, or duplication across the organization's technology portfolio. Recommend opportunities to leverage current investments before acquiring new products or capabilities. Support governance processes that drive informed technology procurement and adoption decisions. Participate in technology review boards, governance committees, and stakeholder review sessions. Industry and Government Research Research and evaluate how partner federal agencies and other organizations utilize ServiceNow and similar enterprise platforms. Document best practices, implementation approaches, common use cases, and lessons learned from comparable environments. Assess industry and government adoption trends to support technology recommendations. Present market research, benchmarking analyses, and comparative solution assessments to stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, product owners, architects, procurement personnel, and governance stakeholders. Facilitate discussions to understand business needs, technology requirements, and strategic objectives. Present assessment results and recommendations to senior leadership and decision-makers. Support the development and continuous improvement of technology governance frameworks, standards, and assessment methodologies.
What You Will Need
An ACTIVE TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance. US Citizenship is contractually required. Minimum of EIGHT (8)+ years of overall work experience. Associates degree or TEN (10)+ years of experience in lieu of degree. US Citizenship is required. Experience with stakeholder engagement, industry and government research, and governance and portfolio management. What Would Be Nice To Have: Knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities, implementation approaches, modules, and platform governance. Experience evaluating software products and developing technology recommendations based on business and technical requirements. Strong understanding of technology governance processes, procurement support activities, and technology lifecycle management. Ability to analyze competing solutions and identify functional overlap or duplication. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting findings to senior stakeholders. Experience producing assessment reports, business cases, recommendations, and executive presentations. The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00.
