AFSIM Simulation Analyst The Opportunity: Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your analytical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact on national defense? As a simulation analyst on our team, you’ll have the chance to assess and evaluate models and simulations using computer-based analytical tools, custom scripting, and the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling ( AFSIM ) . Your analytic expertise will be vital as you evaluate and inform weapon system performance and capability. You’ll develop your skills in critical thinking, data analytics, and operations analysis while gaining experience in constructive M&S of combat systems and operations. You Have: 3+ years of experience with AFSIM or many-vs-many simulation environments such as ITASE or NGTS 3+ years of experience with M&S, supporting the development, use, and analysis of models, simulations, or experiments Experience with scenario development for simulation-based analysis Experience with multiple levels of modeling fidelity, including para met ric, engineering, and emulative simulations Experience with analytic techniques such as Design of Experiments ( DoE ) , statistical analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, and optimization met hods Experience with U.S. and foreign combat weapon systems such as radar, directed energy weapon s, missile systems, or anti-satellite weapon s, air defense, electronic warfare, and command and control ( C2 ) Experience producing clear visualization outputs, including visual analytic artifacts such as plots, dashboards, or videos TS/SCI clearance Bachelor’s degree Nice If You Have: Experience with coding languages commonly used in M & S analysis such as Python, MATLAB, C++, or similar languages for data analysis, model integration, tool development, or manipulating data between different formats and performing post-processing of data Experience developing AFSIM scripts to customize model behaviors and decisions within an analytical scenario Ability to analyze large amounts of raw model output to identify key drivers Ability to distill, summarize, and articulate complex technical insights and findings Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance is required.
