Maintenance Technician (Mechanical)

Maintenance Technician PPG | Clayton Full Time | Permanent As a Maintenance Technician at our Clayton plant, you will play a crucial part in our Electrical and Maintenance team, ensuring that our quality products are available to our customers when they need them.

Repair, modify and install equipment to maintain and operate the facility. Determine and perform required maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, aligning/adjusting parts, calibrating) Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment and ordering/installing replacement parts. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems Perform equipment failure analysis (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance) Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield. Prepare technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures. Understand basic electrical and pneumatic diagrams Perform all tasks associated with troubleshooting equipment. Perform all tasks associated with preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Accurately maintains records and reports as required.

Prior experience as a maintenance mechanic in industrial manufacturing, FMCG or a similar environment Experience working in Hazardous Area is preferred This position requires a strong electrical mechanical aptitude Prior experience in manufacturing and plant maintenance is required. Knowledge of Industrial production and utility equipment operation is preferred.
