SE NIOR SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER     Job Summary: This exciting position is in AMD-Xilinx DevEx HW-IP Engineering group. It will provide the individual with an opportunity to build a strong technical career in Xilinx next generation EDA Methodology Automation of Hard/Soft IP Flow. Join us on our journey in developing world class Soft IP solutions EDA flow automation for the next generation of Xilinx highly flexible and adaptive FPGAs. As an Engineer you will work as part of a team responsible for automation of EDA flows meant for design and testing IP/Systems design. The Engineer is expected to have thorough understanding of the perl/tcl based automation of EDA flows , participate in providing inputs during solution architecture, Micro-architecting, developing perl modules tcl procs for the automation flows. This position requires the individual to be creative, team-oriented, technology savvy, able to produce real world use case scenarios for designing the solutions and ensure high quality & high-performance solution delivery to customers.

Proactively Enhance/Develop/Maintain the infrastructure/regression framework. Daily Failure triaging with Quality RCA done on failures. Will be responsible to analyzing and triaging vivado/vitis regression failures, includes quality bug reporting Should deliver/lead on release convergence activities         PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:   .       Background in EDA tools automation framework development using perl/tcl/Python ·       Strong background in Perl programming including perl modules & packages on linux platform ·       Proficiency in scripting using Perl/Shell/TCL & Python on linux platform ·       Jenkins Cron Management and Good understanding of Jenkins shell scripting & Job Chaining. ·       Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to think out of the box along with experience with production software quality assurance practices, methodologies, and procedures ·       Very Strong Debugging skills & ability to report failures via Jira with strong RCA done. ·       Excellent communication skills and experience working with global teams   ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:   Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering  Benefits offered are described:  AMD benefits at a glance .   AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
