What this job involves: As a Project Manager supporting the Regional Projects Team, you will lead the delivery of complex commercial corporate interior construction projects for a financial services client. This role is responsible for managing projects from inception through closeout while ensuring alignment with client goals, project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Delivering projects: Successfully managing and leading high-visibility projects from inception to completion, ensuring the highest quality delivery within agreed timelines and budgets. Stakeholder management: Building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Team leadership: Leading and motivating project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and empowering individuals to achieve their best performance. Project planning and monitoring: Developing comprehensive project plans & schedules, tracking progress, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues. Budget and cost management: Developing project budgets, tracking project finances, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints, and providing accurate cost forecasts. Quality control: Implementing robust quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards and client expectations. Continuous improvement: Identifying opportunities for process enhancements, implementing innovative project management practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Relationship Management | Client Service Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders Insure leadership is fully and accurately informed of all project issues. Build and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders and vendors. Monitor and manage vendor and project team performance to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, regulatory entities, and client expectations. Project Execution Act as the primary contact with the client throughout the duration of the project; programming through construction close out. Collaborate with various stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables, ensuring they are aligned with clients' goals and expectations. Develop Master Project schedules and manage project performance against schedules, scheduled milestones and critical path items on multiple projects. Develop a detailed project budget based on historical and market data and clearly defined set of budget assumptions. Guide the client and team through the design implementation process including conceptual, schematic, design development, construction documentation and signoff. Facilitate initiation of all critical project meetings and coordination exercises with internal staff, key stakeholders and external users to ensure responsibilities are efficiently, accurately and effectively communicated and understood by all concerned. Coordinate any necessary due diligence efforts on behalf of the internal team, project partners, clients and/or end users, maintaining and delivering all appropriate documentation.
