Northrop Grumman is seeking Systems Engineers for an internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Roy, UT. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD).

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must: Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2027. Be majoring in or having majored in Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Systems Engineering. Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027. Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) Preferred Qualifications:  Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher Current active Secret Security Clearance or higher Responsibilities may include: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
