Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Responsibilities: Establishing and operating KLA’s AI governance framework across all approved AI platforms, models, agents, and automation capabilities Focusing on responsible AI adoption, policy enforcement, risk management, compliance, platform guardrails, AI inventory, approval workflows, and executive visibility Ensuring AI is deployed safely, transparently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with business, legal, security, privacy, and regulatory expectations Developing policies, standards, intake processes, risk frameworks, approval models, executive dashboards, and governance operating models Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Business, Risk Management, or a related field; master’s degree preferred 10+ years of progressive IT, governance, risk, compliance, security, data, or AI program leadership experience Five (5) years leading cross-functional governance, compliance, risk management, technology oversight, or enterprise transformation initiatives Strong understanding of generative AI, machine learning, agentic AI, AI platforms, AI lifecycle management, model governance, data governance, privacy, and security concepts Ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate complex AI governance concepts into clear business decisions Base Pay Range: $133,300.00 - $226,600.00 Annually Primary Location: USA-MI-Ann Arbor-KLA KLA’s total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.
