Job Scope The DSD Logistics Coordinator is an administrative role that supports the daily operations of a DSD Branch. In this role, you will support branch management across the key areas of Safety, Service, Savings, and People. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, time and attendance, accounts payable, leave of absence (LOA) support, vendor management, third-party master shopper support, driver qualification file management, and general branch administration. You will work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders and external business partners, including third-party logistics vendors, to support effective operations, timely issue resolution, and successful execution of branch activities.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Branch Support Manage daily administrative activities supporting branch operations and management. Support activities related to order processing, invoicing, billing, safety, and compliance. Respond to operational emails and other business communications in a timely and appropriate manner . Maintain accurate branch, employee, and vendor records and ensure required documentation is uploaded and retained appropriately. Safety & Compliance Support branch safety and compliance activities. Assist with maintaining required OSHA postings and documentation. Maintain and manage driver qualification files in accordance with applicable requirements. Support other safety and compliance activities as assigned. Service & Operations Support branch operations with customer invoicing and vendor management activities. Assist with inventory management, including reviewing stock inaccuracies, processing damage orders, and performing cycle counts. Provide general administrative support to the DSD Inventory Specialist. Support third-party logistics vendors and other operational partners as needed. Savings & Financial Administration Support branch management with budgeting-related administrative activities. Assist with expense reimbursement and purchasing processes. Support invoicing and accounts payable activities. Help maintain accurate financial and expense-related records. People & Employee Administration Support time and attendance activities. Assist with leave of absence (LOA) processes and related administrative activities. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation. Support vendor account and branch record maintenance. Partner with relevant internal teams to ensure employee and administrative matters are addressed appropriately.
