About the Role: The Product Complaint Investigator executes product complaint investigations with increased technical ownership and moderate independence. This role ensures high-quality investigation outcomes aligned with regulatory requirements, corporate procedures, and performance expectations, while contributing to cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives. Your Responsibilities Include:
Perform product complaint investigations including decontamination, analysis, testing, and technical documentation. Execute investigations for multiple product lines, including moderate to high complexity products. Prepare SEFs with guidance from higher-level engineering roles as needed. Conduct product analysis using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, DMMs) and compare findings against specifications. Support simple NPD activities through complaint retain analysis and data collection. Maintain compliance with quality systems, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Contribute to updates of work instructions (WI) and SOPs through technical feedback. Participate in cross-functional meetings and escalate out-of-spec findings or test failures appropriately. Support continuous improvement initiatives, GCIBS ideas, and VIP contributions. Train and support junior technicians and new team members. Manage laboratory operational tasks such as supply tracking and equipment ownership. Deliver assigned project milestones and support cross-functional objectives.
What We're Looking For
Technical Degree in Quality/Electric Engineering/ Customer Service or related field. English Level: 70-79% Experience: At least 2 years Expanded functional knowledge in complaint investigations within regulated environments. Moderate problem-solving capability with guided decision-making. Effective technical writing and documentation skills. Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional partners. Ability to conduct product analysis using standard laboratory measurement tools. Demonstrated ownership of compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements. • Commitment to completing 100% of assigned training within required timelines. Demonstrated accountability and adherence to Code of Conduct.
Prefered qualifications
Experience supporting moderate to high complexity product investigations. Experience preparing SEFs with limited guidance. Exposure to NPD support activities through complaint data analysis. Experience mentoring junior team members or supporting onboarding. Participation in continuous improvement initiatives such as GCIBS, VIP, or Kaizen. Ability to influence peers in technical discussions. Experience managing laboratory operational responsibilities (equipment ownership, supply tracking). Demonstrated engagement in Diversity & Inclusion initiatives.
