We are seeking a skilled IT Analyst Applications ( Senior Lead Developer Architect ) to join our Applications Development & Intelligence Automation - CAT IT Division Bangalore Team. The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore PSN Office, KA-India What you will do A Development Lead/Architect drives technical strategy, designs scalable software systems, and mentors engineering teams. They bridge high-level architecture with hands-on coding, ensuring code quality, security, and performance standards. Key responsibilities include creating technical blueprints, leading development, conducting code reviews, and aligning initiatives with business goals. Job duties/Responsibilities include but not limited to: Architectural Design & Strategy : Define technical, security, and infrastructure standards, designing high-level, scalable solutions. Technical Leadership:  Guide development teams through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), conducting code reviews and ensuring best practices. Mentorship:  Mentor developers to enhance technical skills and foster a culture of engineering excellence. Cross-functional Collaboration:  Partner with product managers and stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with business objectives. Hands-on Development:  Drive development of APIs, microservices, and core application components. Performance & Security : Optimize application performance and ensure system security compliance. What you will have  Experience:  8+ years in software development, with 5+ years in lead/architect roles Desired skills: Technical Skills:  Strong proficiency in modern frameworks (e.g., Java/Spring Boot, Python), Microservices, Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP), and Database design.
