What You'll Bring
Experience Depth. 8 + years of software engineering experience, including direct technical leadership of a team . Proven Team Leadership. A track record of leading engineering teams to real, delivered outcomes. Customer-Facing Ownership. Experience working directly with customers to resolve ambiguity and shape strategic direction . Cross-Functional Influence. Comfortable operating with senior stakeholders across the org, not just within engineering. Technical Credibility. Still hands-on — leads the team through technical depth, not around it. Business Acumen. Thinks like an owner of the business — looks for ways to grow it and run it more efficiently, with customer value as the constant measure. Strong programming skills in a primary programming language, and contribution capability in the rest (preferred: Java, JavaScript/Node.js, Python) Strong intellectual curiosity and comfort thriving in ambiguity Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools ( i.e., Claude Code, Codex, or similar) Comfortable partnering directly with enterprise customers — running technical discovery and translating findings into production-ready specs Brings a "you build it, you run it" mindset — plans, codes, tests, deploys, operates , and continuously improves what you build Experience reviewing architecture, technology choices, and design decisions, and helping teammates grow Track record of building automated quality enforcement — gates, structural tests, accountability models — that scale without relying on individual discipline Comfortable prototyping quickly across frontend, backend, APIs, and agent-based systems, using rapid PoCs to drive product decisions About Adobe Adobe empowers everyone to create through innovative platforms and tools that unleash creativity, productivity and personalized customer experiences.
