Facilities Manager - JLL What this job involves: The Facilities Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for facilities management and oversight at 2 PA client sites. Y ou'll oversee the daily operations of a mission-critical research and manufacturing environment where precision, compliance, and safety are paramount. This role demands a strategic thinker who can balance the technical complexities of specialized HVAC systems, cleanroom environments, and regulatory requirements with exceptional client service and team leadership. You'll serve as the primary point of contact between JLL and the client, ensuring seamless facility operations that enable groundbreaking scientific work to flourish. What your day-to-day will look like: Be point of contact for client, JLL site team, and vendors at assigned client site Oversee delivery of services for 2 additional client sites Implement JLL programs, processes and procedures that reduce short- and long-term operating costs and increase productivity by working closely with the Facility Management Lead and the client. Own monthly/quarterly/annual reporting against assigned KPIs Oversee the development and management of expense budgets by interfacing closely with the JLL finance and client representatives Coordinate with building engineering staff and landlords Other duties and tasks as assigned Position requires FM to be onsite daily with client with and available to travel to additional supported sites as applicable Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis 5+ years of facility management experience, with at least 2 years in Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or laboratory environments Comprehensive knowledge of FDA, GMP, GLP, and biosafety level requirements for research and manufacturing facilities Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills; client facing Strong presentation skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in MS Office and CMMS work order system Ability to work in matrix environment between client, vendors, and engineers Supervise vendor performance during normal and off hours including weekends when necessary Preferred Qualifications: Experience in matrix management organization managing teams of 5+ people Proven experience managing multi-site facilities, budgets and vendor contracts Location : Malvern, PA (on-site). Traveling 25% to Wayne, PA. This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
