About this role
As Security Officer Supervisor in JPMorgan Chase, you will work with a professional and committed team responsible for protecting the safety of our colleagues, assets, business operations and reputation at all times. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders for business resilience, incident response, physical security of our facilities, safe travel program and management of compliance of internal and regulatory policies and standards. Based out of Bengaluru, your knowledge of the city/state and the region will be advantageous to your role. The Security Officer Supervisor is a key position within the operational security and safety risk management framework of the GS organization in India. The role entails regulatory & legislative compliance, guard force management & alarm response, incident management, infrastructure security, employee/customer/client safety and investigations. Work hours may be irregular especially in times of emergency or during specific protracted periods.
Job Responsibilities
Provide tactical expertise to ensure consistent and comprehensive delivery of security and safety operations at assigned site. Oversee assigned security guards & personnel and ensure sound vendor management & oversight. Assess security and safety equipment to ensure adequacy & workability and manage site security architecture & incident response mechanism. Assist in investigation on issues of theft and code of conduct violations. Assist in local administrative requirements- budgeting, headcount review and vendor dealings. Maintain liaison with Line of Business and external agencies to ensure all security risks are identified and mitigated. Maintain strong working relationship with support functions- Human Resources, Legal, Audit, Compliance, Real Estate, Comms, Transport & Amenities. Implement Firm’s policies, standards, procedures and awareness to mitigate physical security risks. Contribute to the site’s local incident management team. Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills University degree required. Relevant experience of 7 years in the security field including 3 years in a site-based role. Experience in proactive implementation of safety, security & risk mitigation to safeguard people & assets. Good knowledge of principles & processes of safety, security and crisis management. Adept at emergency response, disaster recovery operations and business continuity awareness. Knowledge of loss prevention and event security. Good communication and presentation skills (written, verbal & digital).
