The Raytheon team is looking for a Product Owner (PO) for an agile team focused on a Modeling and Simulation development program for the Missile Defense Agency.

As a PO, you will be responsible for the execution of a subset of the engineering scope for the Radar Development Contract Modeling and Simulation Program. The PO is responsible for management, coordination, and execution of the technical, cost and schedule for their team. This includes task planning to create milestones and schedules, tracking earned value and managing competing priorities.  Specific responsibilities include: Design, prototyping, software development, integration, test and analysis of new or enhanced system capabilities As a Software Engineer, you will support one or more phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - requirements, design, development (using C and C++), test, validation, and maintenance.  Other responsibilities include: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code for performance and efficiency in complex environments. Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for software applications, including system architecture and design specifications. Participate in product reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices. The successful candidate will be expected to build the team’s abilities, provide technical direction and be able to work with both internal and external customers. They will also be expected to support proposal efforts in support of new business and have knowledge of the financial status and planning for the team. This position requires exclusive onsite presence.

You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
