Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Technical Product Manager to lead the adoption, governance, and evolution of our enterprise analytics platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise, product strategy, customer engagement, and platform leadership to help business partners unlock the value of data. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in Tableau and strong proficiency in Power BI, with experience as both a platform administrator and report developer. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and SharePoint Online is preferred. Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake is a plus.
What You'll Do
Serve as a subject matter expert for Tableau and Power BI, guiding business partners through analytics use cases and platform adoption. Lead onboarding activities, customer consultations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept initiatives. Develop and promote best practices, governance standards, and scalable analytics solutions. Help define the strategic roadmap for enterprise analytics platforms, including new capabilities, upgrades, and modernization initiatives. Drive automation and process improvements using APIs, Power Automate, and other technologies. Partner with engineering teams to monitor platform health, improve performance, and deliver exceptional user experiences. Provide operational support and represent customer needs when working with software vendors. Promote platform adoption through user groups, training sessions, community engagement, and internal events.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Strong Tableau and Power BI development experience, including dashboards, data modeling, Power Query, and DAX. Experience administering Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud and Power BI Service. Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Online. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Strong expertise in Tableau development, administration, governance, and platform management. Advanced knowledge of Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service administration. Experience developing and executing product roadmaps, adoption strategies, and platform enablement programs. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate. Knowledge of SharePoint Online, collaboration technologies, and enterprise data management practices. Understanding of BI platform governance, security, access controls, monitoring, and operational support. Strong stakeholder management, communication, consulting, and customer engagement skills with the ability to influence technical and business audiences. Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, API integrations, PowerShell scripting, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
