Inspect electronic assemblies, sub-assemblies, circuit cards (PC Boards), modules, and other components for correct assembly, values, form, and position against drawings and specifications. Use a variety of measuring tools and gauges (e.g., micrometers, radius gauges) and read blueprints and schematics to verify dimensional and functional requirements. Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) on complex mechanical and electronic parts and accept or reject units per established procedures. Enter and escalate nonconformances in TIPQA and maintain inspection records and documentation. Support and mentor other inspectors, set up inspection fixtures, and carry out routine inspection transactions in Oracle MRP. Keep your workspace, tools, and documentation organized and follow company safety and quality processes. Required skills, qualifications, and experience Must-have:

High School Diploma or GED. This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.  Certifications: IPC-A-610 Certification required. Willingness and ability to obtain Preliminary Review (PR) Certification.

3–5 years manufacturing experience with at least 1 year of internal inspection experience . Experience inspecting PC Boards and electronic assemblies is strongly emphasized. Inspection skills: Proficient in final inspections plus three or more inspection skills on the internal qualification matrix. Measurement tools: Comfortable using micrometers, radius gauges, calipers, and other basic inspection devices. Technical aptitude: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, parts lists, and work standards. Computer skills: Basic computer literacy; experience with MRP systems (Oracle MRP experience preferred). Other: Strong hand-eye coordination, dexterity, basic mathematical skills, attention to detail, and good written and oral communication. Preferred attributes Prior experience in a manufacturing environment and self-directed teaming. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles. Experience mentoring or training teammates. What success looks like Accurate, timely inspections that prevent nonconforming parts from progressing. Clear documentation of inspection results and proactive communication of defects. Strong collaboration with production and engineering to improve product quality. Demonstrated ability to train peers and uphold safety and quality standards.
