This internship position is lo cated in South San Francisco, on-site    The Opportunity As a Technical Development Intern in Engineering and Manufacturing focus, you will be assigned a project in global clinical manufacturing. Responsibilities include project coordination, data analysis, & digital tool development. You will be assigned impactful projects directly contributing to the global PTDN Chief of Staff function & global manufacturing network. Your project deliverables will contribute to the following key clinical manufacturing network initiatives: Business Performance Management such as Risk Management & Global Communications Data Analysis such as Operations Review, Digital Performance Management, & AI applications This program provides a broad perspective and appreciation of the development of new processes, methods, and technologies at different production scales in the biotechnology industry.  Candidates applying for the Intern Program should be passionate about science/engineering/operations/data and thoroughly enjoy the challenges associated with complex problem-solving. Candidates must be highly self-motivated and able to work effectively as individuals and as part of multi-disciplinary teams in an atmosphere of casual intensity to develop medicines for unmet medical needs. Interns with an engineering and manufacturing focus will work alongside our teams across operations including plant engineers, project managers, process specialists, & data / digital experts. Your project(s) will make a local and/or global impact on the business.  Program Highlights Intensive 6- months, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship. Program start dates are in January 2027 (Spring). A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship. Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects. Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry. Final presentations of project work to senior leaders. Lead or participate in intern committees to design and coordinate program events and initiatives. Professional & personal development curriculum throughout the program, including networking opportunities, workshops, and panel discussions. Participate in volunteer projects, social events, and team-building activities.

(Required)  Required Education : You meet one of the following criteria: Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student). Must have attained a Bachelor's Degree (not currently enrolled in a graduate program). Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student). Must have attained a Master's Degree. Must be pursuing a PhD (enrolled student). Required Majors: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, & Business majors.
