**_About This Role_** ** **

In this role, you will be responsible for: _ _

+ Providing engineering support on both next generation technologies and proven platforms that support and protect our deployed warfighter\.

+ Participating in development of new products across all phases of the hardware design lifecycle from concept development to test and evaluation\.

+ Supporting hands\-on ground and flight test events through test planning, test execution, and data reduction in a dynamic environment\.

+ Working with multidisciplinary systems and accomplishing tasks that cover a wide range of design activities on unmanned air vehicles\.

+ Conducting in\-depth performance, stability and control, and aerodynamic analysis\.

+ Use, update, and write aircraft performance simulation and predictive tools\.

**_Qualifications _** ** **

+ Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering or related field \.

+ Experience in using, updating, and writing code in MATLAB or related software language\.

+ Understanding and willingness to apply Aerospace Engineering principles, theories, and concepts\.

+ Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance\.

+ Effective written and oral presentation skills\.

+ This position requires an individual to be a U\.S citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance
