A Soft Services Manager is responsible for managing and supervising non-technical support services that contribute to the cleanliness, comfort, and overall appearance of the property. These services generally include housekeeping, pest control, landscaping, waste management, and sometimes concierge services. The main objective of the Soft Services Manager is to ensure that the residential complex remains clean, hygienic, well maintained, and pleasant for residents and visitors. One of the primary responsibilities of a Soft Services Manager is supervising housekeeping operations within the residential tower. This includes maintaining cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, corridors, staircases, elevators, parking areas, clubhouses, and recreational spaces. The manager ensures that housekeeping staff follow proper cleaning schedules and maintain high standards of hygiene. Regular inspections are conducted to ensure that all areas of the property are well maintained. Another important responsibility is managing housekeeping staff and service providers . The Soft Services Manager supervises housekeeping supervisors, cleaners, and other support staff. They prepare duty schedules, assign tasks, and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient service delivery. The manager may also coordinate with external housekeeping agencies or contractors responsible for providing cleaning services in the building.
