Work Flexibility: Hybrid What you will do The MedSurg Business Unit Leader leads a national sales organization with responsibility for approximately $20M in annual revenue, 5 direct managers, and 35 indirect team members. This role oversees commercial strategy, sales execution, business development, pricing, and customer engagement while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The position partners closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business objectives and support sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
Lead the MedSurg sales organization and translate business strategy into clear commercial priorities and execution plans. Drive achievement of revenue, growth, and profitability objectives across a business portfolio of approximately $20M in annual revenue. Define, allocate, and monitor regional and individual sales targets, ensuring accountability across teams and territories. Review monthly sales performance, analyze business trends, identify risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions as needed. Develop and execute business plans to expand market presence and support the successful introduction of new products and initiatives. Manage pricing strategies that align with business objectives, strengthen market competitiveness, and protect profitability. Partner with Operations to align inventory planning with sales forecasts and customer demand requirements. Coach and develop sales managers and representatives through structured performance reviews, development planning, and regular engagement with key customers and strategic accounts.
What you will need
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Previous experience in sales or sales management in the Med Tech sector. Value driven negotiation skills. Previous people management experience leading managers and sales teams. Fluent English proficiency. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Preferred: MBA or other postgraduate business qualification. Experience managing revenue accountability, pricing strategies, and commercial business planning at a national or regional level. Previous experience in strategic planning, or business analysis. Travel Percentage: 40%
