This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.    We are excited for you to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: The Manufacturing Technician performs hands-on activities/tasks associated with manufacturing rocket motor components. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, tooling assembly/disassembly, operating equipment, component surface preparation, including anodizing, contamination removal and deburring, drilling, assembly, maintaining cleanliness of work area and facilities. Participates as a team member to positively influence and enhance the safety, quality, and cost and schedule performance of their team.  Must be willing to perform shift work, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required Must possess a valid state driver’s license Detail-oriented and meticulous. Able to pass a respirator FIT test Able to work a physically demanding day (stand for long periods; work from your knees; ascend and descend ladders; lift, bend, twist, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.) while wearing protective equipment (respirator, coveralls, gloves, eye and ear protection, etc.) Able to read, comprehend, and follow established written instructions without deviation Perform basic math and measurement functions Read and interpret blueprints Must be willing to perform work on weekends and holidays as required.  Must be willing to work overtime as required.  Other duties as assigned Why you? High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.    Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance Able to work a physically demanding day (stand for long periods; work from your knees; ascend and descend ladders; lift, bend, twist push and pull up to 50 lbs.).   Able to read, comprehend and follow established written instructions without deviation.  Perform basic math and measurement functions.  Must be a U.S. Citizen  Preferred Qualifications:   Metal surface finishing hands-on experience Knowledge in Anodize/Alodine Processing Safe handling of hazardous materials Operation of industrial equipment such as cranes, forklifts, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools Can work independently or in a team environment.  Curious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector?
