In this role, you'll focus on supporting financial reporting, costing processes, business analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering with finance professionals across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Support in analyzing and preparing standard cost reports and month-end operating results. Assist in collecting, validating, and reconciling financial and operational data to ensure reporting accuracy. Work under strong partnership and engagement with finance team members and business stakeholders. Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards for key performance indicators (KPIs). Perform ad hoc analyses and reporting requested by Finance Managers. Support managing different costing process workflows, including IMF and EMMA processes. Assist with month-end close and financial reporting activities. Maintain trackers, reports, and process documentation related to costing and business performance. Support identification and resolution of data inconsistencies and reporting issues. Participate in process improvement, automation, testing, and documentation activities. Collaborate effectively across teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables. Support other operational and project-based finance activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
MBA / PGDM in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or related discipline. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable working with financial systems and digital tools. Basic understanding of financial reporting and costing concepts. Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to Cost Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Management Reporting, or Finance Operations. Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems. Familiarity with Power BI or data visualization tools. Understanding of manufacturing finance and standard costing concepts. Experience working with large datasets and reporting dashboards. Interest in financial analytics and process improvement initiatives. Exposure to automation tools and digital finance solutions. Internship experience in finance, accounting, or related functions.
