Discipline Clients & Industries Role Type Private Equity Compliance & Regulatory Management support Business unit specific description – Clients & Industries – GDS UKI As part of the Region and Service Line Operations COE Support team, the Senior Associate supports business leaders through reporting, data analysis, project coordination, and operational management. The role involves monitoring and managing independence compliance requirements for major UK-headquartered Private Equity entities, ensuring all proposed engagements and business relationships across EY service lines comply with SEC, EU, UK, and EY independence regulations. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective stakeholder communication, and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely insights that help protect the firm and support informed decision-making. Your key responsibilities:
Support Quarterly Independence Summary Memo (ISM) Procedures - Initial review of Quarterly ISM and backing docs, ensuring procedures are completed for PE accounts each quarter Set up a structure for each account to ensure that the account team is appropriately supported in covering regulatory requirements Reconcile systems to ensure account structures are reflected appropriately and accurately. Monitor press and industry announcements for acquisitions and disposals across focus accounts Support Public and Private Company Independence Procedures for acquisitions Answering general Independence queries related to PE Accounts High level of stakeholder engagement A solid understanding of our account and client structure Collating action points from leadership meeting and driving their execution Program/ Project Coordination Other ad hoc projects

Skilled in designing interactive dashboards, reports, and visual narratives that enable stakeholders to quickly interpret trends, patterns, and performance metrics. Presentation and facilitation skills - Ability to drive meetings, build presentations that interpret the data, creating valuable business insights and delivering the message to the stakeholders Work under minimal direction/supervision - Be accountable for projects assigned, take complete ownership and drive projects end to end Business acumen and Adaptability – Capable of quickly understanding the needs of the business and be able to align with changing customer expectations Quick learner - Ability to grasp or quickly understand the process, objectives / intricacies of projects and move to delivery mode in a short span Attention to detail - Utmost importance to numbers, formatting etc. Excellent Communication - Listening, reading, writing & speaking skills MS Office skills: Advanced level experience in Excel reporting & PowerPoint. Power BI/Other BI tools/ Alteryx - Data Integration and Data Visualization etc. High degree of professionalism and integrity
To qualify for the role, you must have
Graduate / Post-graduate - (Business Administration, Information and Data Science) with 3 - 6 years’ work experience in professional services industry. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
