Summary We are seeking a Digital Senior Development Engineer with deep experience of functional and automation testing experience. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Playwright, Cypress, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and is comfortable designing, building, and maintaining automated test suites—including API/integration tests and end-to-end tests—using modern JavaScript frameworks. Experience applying agentic AI tools to accelerate and improve testing workflows is a strong plus.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications using Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress for functional, end-to-end, and regression testing Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Development, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to ensure high-quality releases Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives Conduct cross-browser and responsive UI testing to ensure a consistent user experience across platforms and devices Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, stability, and execution efficiency Ensure testing complies with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and other applicable standards Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.) with clear quality gates Ensure test traceability, coverage visibility, and alignment with release processes Leverage agentic AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate test authoring, self-healing test maintenance, and defect analysis Required Qualifications 5+ years of software testing experience 3+ years of relevant automation testing experience 4+ years of hands-on development with JavaScript-based automation frameworks, including Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, Jasmine, or Protractor 4+ years of experience with API automation and REST API testing using Postman and RestAssured Proven experience creating and maintaining test scripts, along with custom-designed testing tools and frameworks Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript Experience with BDD/Cucumber for QA delivery Hands-on experience using agentic AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) to generate, refactor, and debug test code and to streamline QA workflows Preferred Qualifications Experience in Pharmacy, Clinical Systems, or other healthcare domains Experience working within an Engineering Center of Excellence (tools and processes) Strong team player who takes ownership and communicates effectively Working knowledge of the healthcare domain is a plus Strong problem-solving and strategic critical-thinking skills Familiarity with prompt engineering or building AI-assisted test automation pipelines Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Highschool diploma plus 4 years relevant work experience) Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $92,700.00 - $203,940.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.    Our people fuel our future.
