Job Duties and Responsibilities What You'll Do De-escalate & Re-engage: Handle back-to-back inbound calls from customers looking to disconnect services. Defuse escalated emotions using active listening and patience. Consultative Retention & Cross-Selling: Uncover the root cause of customer dissatisfaction. Frame customized, value-driven solutions based on "what's in it for them," while leveraging opportunities to cross-sell our high-growth Wireless and Broadband products. Demonstrate Absolute Tenacity: Refuse to yield on the first or second objection. Systematically work through customer pushback using structured, strategic counter-offers. Protect the Business with Pride: Represent the EchoStar brand with integrity, turning negative customer cycles into long-term customer loyalty. What You Bring Tenacity and Thick Skin: You do not take "no" as a final answer. You have the grit to present multiple tailored offers even when the customer starts out closed off. Active Listening & Persuasion: You can read between the lines during a high-stress conversation, pull out the customer's true pain point, and reframe our services to solve it.
