River Park provides acute inpatient services to children, adolescents, adults and seniors and features a 22-bed residential treatment program for children and adolescents and a 25-bed adult forensic unit. Completing admission process including precertification. Essential Core Functions Answers/processes referral calls. Completes triage/admission assessments. Admission of patients, including precertification. Provides information about community services for patients who do not meet admission criteria. Provides back-up for receptionist, nursing, and other staff as needed. Job specifications Education, Certification/Licensure, and/or Experience Valid WV RN license Minimum of 2 years’ experience. Psychiatric preferred. Knowledge, skills, and abilities required Good oral communication skills. Clinical/assessment skills. Ability to effectively handle referral calls. Knowledge of community resources. Ability to define problems, collect information, draw valid conclusions. Computer skills. Customer service skills. Ability to work with staff and physicians.
