Job Description
The Engineering Supervisor will work closely with the Manager of Facilities Engineer and provide supervision of the Engineering team at both low and high-rise buildings. This includes the efficient operation, oversight and upkeep of the central plants, the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, controls, plumbing and electrical systems, building envelopes, and grounds. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, coordinate all maintenance activities, manage vendor and employee relationships, and collaborate with contractors to ensure the facility operates efficiently, remains safe and is compliant with all regulations. What You’ll Do: Execute weekly workplans, including preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance work orders assigned through the CMMS and mobile platforms Maintain accurate records of maintenance activity, equipment performance, repair history, and costs in the CMMS Work closely with the Chief Engineer to provide support for central chiller plants and other critical infrastructure supporting the sites, data centers, and critical spaces Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, including critical infrastructure, to ensure continuous, efficient, and safe operations Partner with Facility Operations on all MEP and critical infrastructure preventative maintenance programs Participate and provide support for annual LAFD REG4 testing Monitor N4 building automation systems (BAS) to optimize energy use, systems performance, and maintain comfortable environments for employees and guests. Provide updates to management and Central Monitoring teams on alarms and impacts on operations Work closely with the Critical Infrastructure System team on the ArcGIS platform, projects and emergency response strategies Partner with the Asset Management team to drive EAM processes and ensure assets are tagged and data is accurate in the Master Asset List Participate in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOP) and key performance indicators (KPI’s) with Facility Operations and the Asset Management team Oversee vendor and 3rd party contracted services to ensure scope of work is completed as required. Includes having all documents and costs added to the asset in the CMMS Partner with NBCU departments to ensure compliance and safety tasks are addressed promptly (AQMD, OSHA, ADA and other
