Job Overview
A Production Operator uses equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line, based on Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) and Quality Management System (QMS) guidelines. This job also involves leveraging technical skills to troubleshoot machines and operational processes to meet production goals. Job Requirements
• Follow safety guidelines. • Replace Production Leader in case of absence (Back-up). • In accordance with the Quality System, you must follow the guidelines, procedures and policies of the company and Production/Operations department. • Troubleshoots and makes minor adjustments and repairs. This would include adjustments and all aspects of changes, replacement of consumables and minor spare parts. • May perform tool sharpening, repair, or conditioning. • Execute the Quality Inspection Plan, inspecting the product and using the tools, fixtures and measurement devices required to ensure that the product is acceptable. • Document per job traveler requirements. • Perform Line Clearances. • Train other Production Operators of equal and previous grade. • Reading and understanding blueprints. • Follow instructions, pre-established guidelines and plans to perform the functions of your job. • Good vision and manual dexterity. • Must have the ability and availability to work overtime when requested. Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level • Warning Letters • EHS Accidents (Due to Operational Negligence) • "AseguraTE" or "BBS" Reports • Incidents related to Quality (Non-Conformities for not following the Operating Procedures) • Systems and/or Technological Knowledge • Trainer • Operational efficiency • Brigade member: It is an operational "plus" for internal evaluations • High School Degree or proofed equivalency • Able to work from 10 pm to 6 am (Monday - Friday) • English B1 minimum • Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, etc.). • Good Communication Skills and clearly express ideas. • Blueprint
