Our Cloud Product Finance team leads the financial management for Product, Engineering, and Operations teams that build and sell Google Cloud products, including Google Cloud Platform, Geo Enterprise (Google Maps Platform) and Workspace. We are a thought partner and trusted strategic adviser to the Cloud leadership team, advising on optimizing business economics while scaling hypergrowth businesses. This individual will support multiple cloud products and own financial responsibilities that include P&L, capital expenditures, efficiencies, and others. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business. Lead a team of financial analysts/managers and partner closely with the VPs/GMs of these businesses to grow with thoughtful strategic investments. Act as a trusted financial and strategic advisor to multiple product GMs. Serve as the financial manager of the businesses and work to drive growth and profitability. Own financial modeling and executive alignment with a focus on ROI and rapid growth. Partner with Product, Sales and Infrastructure GM Finance lead to determine optimal investment strategies for growth. Develop Product P&Ls and frameworks for profitability analysis.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Technology or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). 10 years of experience as a people manager. Experience managing finance teams in a cloud, technology infrastructure, or SaaS environment. Preferred qualifications: Experience managing and scaling a finance team within an IaaS-based business. Experience managing complex business problems from inception to delivery including developing structured solutions. Strong business acumen with an understanding of business drivers and value-creation. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and maintain executive presence and perspective in the midst of changing timelines and rapid decision making. Ability to lead and inspire a growing organization and navigate ambiguity, track record of developing teams, and proven coaching skills.
