Entity : Oracle America, Inc. Job Duties : Support the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle cloud-computing environment. Develop and support network fabric and systems. Develop and implement solutions for network issues, safely executing network changes. Participate in network lifecycle management through network build and/or upgrade projects. May participate in network solution and architecture design process. Participate in operational rotations as either primary or secondary. Provide break-fix support for events and may serve as escalation point for event remediation. Provide root cause analysis as needed. Develop scripts to automate routine tasks for team. May support network vendor software bug fixes. May telecommute. (385.35288) Employer will accept a Bachelor's* degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a Network Developer-related occupation. *In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept 2 years of work experience. Position requires: Deep networking experience, including network protocols, network fabric architectures, and network device management; Network troubleshooting and performance analysis; Internet Protocol (IP), Transmission Control Protocol (TCP), or Border Gateway Protocol(BGP) protocols; Networking Operations and Oncall experience; Software development: network automation with Python; Core networking platforms from major vendors: Cisco, Arista or Nvidia/Mellanox; Experience with network monitoring tools such as Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), MIB’s; Experience operating and debugging cloud-scale RDMA-based CLOS network fabrics in production hyperscaler environments; Hands-on expertise with high-performance networking technologies used in AI and HPC clusters, including Ethernet-based RDMA (RoCE) and InfiniBand fabrics; Experience designing and operating multi-plane or multi-rail network architectures to achieve fault isolation and deterministic performance at hyperscale; Expertise in optimizing performance and reliability of large-scale, low-latency Ethernet networks supporting AI and high-performance computing workloads; and Advanced troubleshooting experience across the full networking stack, including switch ASIC's, NIC firmware, optic modules, and distributed routing protocols.
