About this role
Description Summary Huntington Bank has an exceptional opportunity for a talented litigation attorney to join its dynamic and growing Legal Department. Using thoughtful legal analysis, strategic thinking, and business acumen, you will partner with business leaders, risk partners, and Legal Department colleagues to oversee a diverse portfolio of litigation, threatened litigation, investigations, subpoenas, and other contested matters involving Huntington and its affiliates. The ideal candidate will have substantial litigation experience, sound business and legal judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. In addition to overseeing individual matters, this attorney will play a key role in managing Huntington's overall litigation portfolio, reporting on trends and litigation exposure, and leading the Legal Department's eDiscovery function.
Duties & Responsibilities

Partner with internal stakeholders to investigate claims, develop factual records, identify and prepare witnesses, preserve evidence, coordinate discovery, and support dispute resolution. Lead the Legal Department's eDiscovery function, overseeing preservation and collection efforts, discovery and review processes, eDiscovery vendor relationships and technology, and ongoing enhancement of information governance and litigation support capabilities. Help manage Huntington's broader litigation portfolio by developing and analyzing litigation and legal spend data, monitoring trends and legal risks, and using data-driven insights to manage exposure, improve decision-making, and strengthen litigation prevention efforts. Prepare and deliver matter assessments, exposure analyses, reserve recommendations, and other reports to Legal Department leadership, senior management, risk committees, and other stakeholders. Collaborate across the Legal Department, control functions, and business segments to identify, manage, and mitigate enterprise legal risk, and perform other duties as assigned.
