As a Trader, you'll sit at the center of Nucor's raw material supply chain — buying scrap and alloys from suppliers worldwide, then brokering those raw materials to customers. You'll build a real book of business, trade commodities, and develop lasting supplier and customer relationships. After an 8–10 week paid training program, you'll be placed in one of our district offices and a brokerage based on our business needs and your strengths. Buy and sell ferrous, nonferrous metals and or ferroalloys to drive Nucor's raw material advantage (Depending on assigned brokerage) Prospect and develop new supplier and mill relationships Manage contracts, payment terms, and supply chain logistics with customers Collaborate daily with logistics teams, Nucor mill contacts, and open-market accounts Travel to supplier and customer sites (30–60% of time) Relocate to any district office at the close of training — and again as you advance

Bachelor's degree in Business and or related field/discipline Strong verbal and written communication skills 100% open to relocation — initially and as your career advances Ability to travel 30–60% Self-starter who thrives working both independently and on a team Nice-to-Haves
