 About this opportunity: We are looking for a Engineer-RAN Monitoring responsible for 24×7 monitoring of 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G network alarms. The engineer will identify network issues, raise tickets with the relevant teams, and follow up until service restoration and closure.

Monitor 2G/3G/4G/5G network alarms using monitoring and OSS tools. Analyze and prioritize alarms based on severity and customer impact. Raise accurate incident tickets with the appropriate support or concern team. Follow up on outages, incidents, and restoration activities until closure. Escalate critical and repeated issues according to defined procedures. Maintain clear incident records, timelines, and troubleshooting updates. Coordinate with field teams, transmission, core, optimization, and other technical teams. Monitor outage restoration progress and communicate status updates. Perform shift handovers with complete and accurate information. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on alarms, outages, and incidents. Identify recurring alarms and support root-cause analysis. Follow SLA, KPI, escalation, and operational governance requirements. Support continuous improvement and automation of monitoring and reporting activities. The skill you bring: Minimum 2 years experience in RAN monitoring or telecom operations. Knowledge of 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G network technologies. Understanding of common RAN alarms, outages, cells, sites, and network elements. Experience with OSS, alarm-monitoring, trouble-ticketing, and reporting tools. Good incident management and escalation skills. Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Good communication and coordination skills. Willingness to work in a 24×7 rotational shift environment. Knowledge of Python, Power BI, or automation tools is an added advantage. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field. 24×7 operations with rotational shifts. Availability for night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required. Participation in on-call or emergency support activities when needed.
