2027 Summer Intern: Business Analyst

At a Glance You're a motivated student with a current 3.0 GPA or higher currently pursuing a degree in one of the following areas from an accredited college or university: Business Administration,Business Technology Management,Computer Science,Data Science,Information Technology,Management and Organization This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field. Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027. In addition to role-specific projects, you'll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally. What you can expect in this role As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations. This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business. Internship responsibilities may include: Collaborate with business analysts and developers to gather and document requirements for Spectrum's field tools Analyze operational data and support enhancements that improve technician productivity and field efficiency Map workflows and processes using diagramming tools to clarify business needs Translate stakeholder requirements into technical language for effective communication Use SQL, Excel or Google Sheets to validate, clean and visualize data for actionable insights Assist with Agile project tracking and documentation in tools like Jira or Azure DevOps Participate in cross-functional projects, professional development sessions, networking activities and final presentations Required Qualifications Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028 Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degree Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship Preferred Qualifications Requirements gathering and documentation including user stories and business requirements documents Process mapping and diagramming workflows using tools like Visio, Lucidchart or Miro Stakeholder communication translating business needs into technical language Critical thinking and problem decomposition for structured analysis #LI-SS5 GGN100 2026-81739 2026 Here, our employees don’t just have jobs, they're building careers.
