Job Summary
Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems in vehicles and equipment. Performs routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Collaborates with customers and team members to provide quality service and support. Essential Functions • Repair and Maintain Mobile Equipment. • Service, repair, adjust, and test all mobile equipment that operates throughout the plant to maximize performance and limit downtime. • Inspect all mobile equipment to identify and troubleshoot the cause of errors. Perform repairs to address problems when necessary. • Handle, install, position, and move parts, materials, and industrial hand tools in a safe manner throughout the shop and plant. • Document and Record Information.  • Ensure correct and accurate documentation is completed daily and monthly regarding all mobile equipment.  • Enter and maintain service reports for all the mobile equipment in written or electronic form. • Assist in driving heavy equipment and vehicles throughout the plant to ensure production continues efficiently. • May assist mechanics in vehicle repair and change tires as necessary.
