YOUR IMPACT
As a Lead Software Developer at OpenText, you will provide technical leadership for the Messaging Channels Platform, focusing on building high-volume, reliable, and scalable messaging capabilities.
You will lead the development of distributed messaging services supporting Email, WhatsApp, SMS, and RCS. You will drive technical decisions, engineering standards, and best practices while working closely with Product Management, Architecture, Engineering, Security, DevOps, and Cloud Operations teams.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
• Lead the design and development of high-volume, low-latency messaging services.
• Build and maintain microservices using Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies.
• Support cloud-native and multi-region deployments with a focus on availability, security, and performance.
• Contribute to messaging capabilities across Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and RCS channels.
• Drive technical decisions, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and improve system performance and reliability.
• Establish effective monitoring and observability
