The Senior Manager, Business Planning & Analytics - Digital Appliances (DA) is a role responsible for leading the analytics team, analytics strategy, reporting infrastructure, and data-driven decision-making capabilities of the Digital Appliance organization. This individual will own the development and delivery of executive-level reporting, and serve as a strategic partner to sales, marketing, and operations leadership. This position will need to be able to combine strong analytical rigor with the people leadership skills to develop a small, high-performing team. Role and Responsibilities Role & Responsibilities Develop and implement business planning and reporting analytics strategies to align with organizational objectives. Lead, mentor and develop the analytics team to ensure reporting excellence, execution and collaboration with all teams within DA Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reporting that give leadership timely visibility into business performance and key trends. Identify opportunities to automate or streamline recurring reporting and planning processes including leveraging AI Establish and continuously improve data governance, reporting standards, and analytical methodologies across the team. Manage competing priorities and deadlines across the team, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely deliverables. Partner with cross-functional leaders (Finance, Sales, Operations, Marketing) to align planning assumptions, KPIs, and resource allocation with business strategy. Own the design and execution of business planning cycles, including annual operating plans, quarterly business reviews, and rolling forecasts. Provide executive-level reporting and insights to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required (MBA preferred) in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance or a related field. 8+ years of relevant experience in business analytics, data science, or a related field. Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex data manipulation, pivot tables, and advanced formulas. Hands-on experience with BI platforms and data cubes (SAP, Tableau, or equivalent). Proven track record building and delivering executive-level reporting and strategic insights. Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple competing priorities across stakeholders. Excellent communication skills; ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences. Experience in people management including career path planning and maximizing output of employees.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in consumer electronics, home appliances, or retail channel analytics. Familiarity with sell-through and sell-in reporting models in a large-scale sales organization. Proficiency in automation tools such as Alteryx or Knime Familiarity with SAP ERP, Tableau and AI Search Tools Experience presenting analytical findings to C-suite or VP-level stakeholders.
