Execute mechanical design, development, and implementation of improvements for engine auxiliary’s module components and systems. Drive product quality, reliability, and performance improvements through data-driven engineering analysis and continuous improvement methodologies. Execute value engineering, cost reduction, supplier resourcing, and localization initiatives while maintaining product performance and manufacturability. Investigate field, manufacturing, and validation issues using structured root cause analysis and corrective action processes. Develop and release CAD models, engineering drawings, specifications, and engineering changes in support of new and existing engine programs. Collaborate with global engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply management, and supplier teams to implement design solutions and product enhancements. Support product validation activities, including design verification, testing, failure analysis, and implementation of corrective actions. Own and maintain Focused Performance Metrics (FPM), identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve quality, delivery, cost, and reliability.
What Skills You Need
Proficiency in CAD design and mechanical component development. Understanding of engine auxiliaries systems, brackets, mounting structures, piping, routing systems, sensors, actuators, and supporting hardware. Proven experience with root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies. Experience executing cost reduction and continuous improvement projects. Knowledge of mechanical and electronic system integration. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, validation activities, and product development practices. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a data-driven approach. Fluent in English

Six Sigma training, Yellow belt certification or higher.
Education
